Booking Terms and Conditions

  • Reservations must be confirmed in writing, with credit card details, in order to guarantee the booking.
  • Package quoted per night, in Euros, with VAT and service charges included; the minimum stay stated in the package is mandatory.
  • Packages and included services, specially golf, should be reserved with at least 14 days advance.
  • Dinners included are an a la carte three course meal, from the Brisa do Mar or Ca’ d’Oro restaurant menu, not including beverages, caviar, lobster or other shellfish. Not applicable to Room Service.
  • No credits or refunds will be granted irrespective of whether or not the full package or services included are used.


Golf and SPA

  • It Handicap Certificates are compulsory to play on all the courses and must be presented at the golf course before beginning the game. If a valid Handicap Certificate is not presented, a No-Show will be charged. In general, the maximum values are 28 for Gentleman and 36 for Ladies.
  • Desired weekly golfing tee times must be confirmed with the reservation and are subject to golf course availability.
  • Golf courses enforce a strict dress code: denim jeans, tennis shoes, collarless shirts - for both Ladies and Gentlemen - and non- tailored shorts are not allowed on the course. The use of socks and soft spikes is compulsory.
  • The hotel’s complimentary transfers to the Quinta do Lago Golf Courses is subject to availability; 24 hours advance booking is recommended.
  • In the event of bad weather conditions, the green fees are only credited when the course is closed; if the golf course remains open, it is at the golf club management’s discretion to decide on credits and refunds. The use of buggies is not permitted in case of rain. The Hotel has no power and influence over these matters.
  • Included Spa Treatments are selected from the hotel’s Spa Menu (maximum duration of 70 minutes) and preferably booked 24 hours in advance, to ensure availability; cancellations or changes are only accepted with a minimum of 4 hours advance notice. No shows or late cancellations are charged in full. Please consult the hotel’s spa etiquette before the use of the facilities.


Cancellations, No-Show or Early Departures

  • Cancellations with more than 14 days notice prior to the date of arrival have no charge.
  • Cancellations with at least 3 days prior notice to the arrival date have a charge equal to 50% of the total package amount.
  • Cancelations with less than 3 days notice, “No-Show” or Early Departure: full package and services are charged.


Car Rental (when included)

  • The included car rental os for a group B car with basic level (third-party) insurance; a credit card deposit is mandatory for insurance excess; optional supplement for full/comprehensive insurance from 12€ per day.2 per day.
